Poll: 81 Percent Disapprove of Congress
Independents lead the disapproval ratings, Fox News reports, with nearly nine out of 10 people — 88 percent — giving lawmakers poor ratings. In addition, 82 percent of Democrats give Congress a thumbs-down, followed by 77 percent of Republicans, and 71 percent of tea party supporters.
Even then, the disapproval ratings aren't at their lowest. That point was in 2011, when 83 percent of voters thought Congress was not doing its job properly. But the current survey revealed that only 13 percent of the 952 voters Fox polled randomly on Oct. 1-2 approve of Congress.
In comparison, President Barack Obama's job ratings are up slightly, but still below 50 percent.
In the current poll, 45 percent of voters approved of his performance, compared to 40 percent approval in early September in a poll taken when he still was considering military action against President Bashar Assad's regime in Syria.
Obama's ratings are up because more Democrats approve of the president. His job-approval rating among Democrats hit a record low of 69 percent in September, but now, 84 percent of Democrats approve. His rating among independents is up as well, with 32 percent approving, up from 29 percent.
Though his numbers are up, more voters disapproved than approved on each of the issues tested in the poll.
For example, on healthcare, 45 percent approve of Obama, while 51 percent disapprove, improving on September's ratings of 38 percent approval and 58 percent disapproval.
His marks are lowest for handling the federal deficit, at 35 percent to 59 percent and Syria, at 38 percent to 51 percent.

The World According to Andrea Mitchell
In an incident ignored by the media, race-baiter extraordinaire Andrea Mitchell and other big-name journalists candidly exposed their bigotry and racial prejudices at a friendly forum in the nation's capital last year.
In an unusually candid conversation, mainstream media stars Mitchell, David Gregory, and Dana Milbank let loose in an orgy of Caucasian self-flagellation during a panel discussion titled, "Media: Race & Politics - The Impact of Race in Politics 2012," at the National Action Network's conference in Washington, D.C. The left-wing street thug group is headed by none other than Jew-hating homophobe and Obama ally Al Sharpton.
Now's a good time to bring this up as Mitchell, one of the biggest Obama supplicants on the boob tube, improbably receives the National Press Club's highest honor, the Fourth Estate Award, at a gala banquet tonight in the capital city. Mitchell is receiving the prize even though it is designated for "a journalist who has made significant contributions to the field through a lifetime of excellence."
Mitchell is NBC's Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent and host of MSNBC's "Andrea Mitchell Reports."
The panel discussion, which took place April 13, 2012, ought to be old news, but it didn't make the news at all: no media outlets got around to reporting it at the time. Presumably they weren't interested because they agreed with the speakers and didn't consider their comments controversial. Of course, April 13 last year was two days after George Zimmerman was chargedwith second-degree murder in the death of Trayvon Martin. (Martin's mourning parents made an appearance at the conference.)

The Bunker-Barry mentality of today’s White House
Over the past 4 plus years, 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. has been transformed to something other than George Washington’s historic White House
The White House is under siege, and has been so since the 2013 sequestration. America’s top tourist draw continues to be held under siege by a malcontent community organizer who claimed the presidency in 2008, and his chip-on-the-shoulder wife.
Under sequestration even school children cannot get into their White House. You can no longer get into the White House unless you’re a Hollywood star, a favored world leader, a union boss or activist, unless allowed entry at the express invitation of a covetous Barack and Michelle Obama.
As of yesterday you can’t panic when you come upon a new White House Security random checkpoint—without suffering the loss of your life.
Internet video clearly shows that Miriam Carey, a 34-year-old dental hygienist from Connecticut with her 1-year-old daughter, Erica a passenger in the car, panicked as she drove her Infiniti luxury sedan near the hallowed vicinity of the 2013 White House.
It was a total panic with the first mainstream media reports claiming that the young mother was shooting at cops.

OBAMACARE FACEBOOK ERUPTS WITH CITIZEN STICKER SHOCK
On Thursday, the government's official Obamacare Facebook page was riddled with people expressing sticker shock over the government's high cost premiums after struggling for hours to wade through the technical failures vexing Obamacare exchanges all across the country.
"I am so disappointed," wrote one woman. "These prices are outrageous and there are huge deductibles. No one can afford this!" The comment received 169 "likes."
"There is NO WAY I can afford it," said one commenter after using the Kaiser Subsidy Calculator. "Heck right now I couldn't afford an extra 10$ [sic] a month...and oh apparently I make to [sic] much at 8.55/hour to get subsidies."
Another person shared a link found on the federal government's main Obamacare page listing premium estimates for small business employers:
The information is not very complete as I don't see anything about deductible or other detailed info, but it does given an actual price as to the "Premium." It is VERY SCARY!! For example, my insurance plan right now for my spouse and I costs $545 a month with 100% coverage after my $2500 deductible. We are both 32 years old. When I looked at this site for 80% coverage it says it will be $954.78 a month!!!! So compare my old Plan: 100% coverage for $545 a month To New Plan: 80% Coverage for $945 a month. This is only only an estimate but it is VERY Scary for me to see this kind of increase in rates and reduction in benefits!
A single mother of two said she is in school and working full-time while living "75% below the poverty level." She said she was shocked to learn she did not qualify for a healthcare subsidy. "Are you F'ing kidding me????" she wrote on the government's Obamacare Facebook page. "Where the HELL am I supposed to get $3,000 more a year to pay for this 'bronze' health insurance plan!?!??? And I DO NOT EVEN WANT INSURANCE to begin with!! This is frightening," she wrote.
After Shutdown: Administration Gives $445,000,000 to Corporation for Public Broadcasting
That means PBS NewsHour, National Public Radio and Sesame Street got a taxpayer subsidy during the shutdown, but not would-be cancer patients at the NIH.
The $445 million the Treasury handed over to CPB was more than the $119 million the Treasury paid on the first day of the shutdown in interest on U.S. government debt that is held by the public. It was also more than $171 million in Social Security benefits the Treasury paid that day. But it was less than the $592 million the Treasury paid for Veterans Affairs programs on the first day of the shutdown.
The $445 million the Treasury gave to CPB on the first day of the shutdown was also almost as much as the $471 million the administration gave to the entire Department of Health and Human Services that day.
