MARK LEVIN: THE REPUBLICAN PARTY WON ITS MAJORITY ON A LIE
Today one of America’s most popular talk radio hosts and best-selling author, Mark Levin, addressed a packed audience at the 37th annual National Conservative Student Conference hosted by the Young America’s Foundation.
The audience, comprised of more than 200 students from around the nation, was thrilled to hear from one of the most influential minds in the conservative movement. In his speech, Levin discussed many of the ideas put forth in his new book, Plunder and Deceit, which is already winning accolades from many notable conservatives.
Prior to his remarks, Levin sat down with Breitbart News and diagnosed the failings of the Republican Party — namely, that “The Republican establishment is the problem.”
Levin explained that the GOP’s problems stem largely from party leadership. In a metaphor invoking the idea of House Speaker
Rep. John Boehner (R-OH)
as a Republican in drag, Levin said:
35%
[Boehner] is essentially delivering for Barack Obama everything Barack Obama wants. Just because you’re dressed up as a Republican doesn’t make it so… By his actions, he has demonstrated that he is not a conservative. He spends his time with [Rep. Kevin] McCarthy (R-CA) and [Rep. Steve] Scalise (R-LA) conspiring against the Tea Party and the more conservative elements of his caucus… I can’t think of one significant advance in the cause of liberty or limited government under John Boehner. When he and [Sen. Mitch] McConnell (R-KY)—who’s equally bad— surrendered the power of the purse right out of the box… they just delivered Obama everything he wanted. So these men have helped Obama oversee the biggest explosion of government both in spending and in power ever.
Levin explained that under current leadership, the Republican Party has been an abject failure:
The Republican Party is a disaster. It has lost its way, I don’t think it even knows what its way is. We have a couple of self-serving powerful politicians at the top—in the House, in the Senate, and in the RNC [Republican National Committee] and various other places that empower themselves, they like exercising power. And they fear conservatives more than the Democratic Party… They hate conservatives, they hate constitutionalists, they hate the Tea Party. They don’t care for the Democrats, but they’ll work with them… They have no strategic vision whatsoever—and, of course, they have no tactical vision at all either—and they keep saying, ‘Vote Republican, Vote Republican.’ But they are doing more to dispirit Republicans and conservatives than Barack Obama, because people go to the polls, they give them the House, then they give them the Senate, and they get nothing. They also seem to think that bipartisanship is the reason they’re in Washington. No, the reason they’re in Washington is to advance the cause of liberty and prosperity and constitutionalism. Why would you want to participate in a bipartisan government when the President of United States is openly usurping the rule of law and openly attack the private sector and individual sovereignty?… Why wouldn’t you do everything you can to throw a wrench in his agenda?
Levin declared that, “The Republican Party won the majority on a lie.” Levin argued that on every issue from Obamacare to executive amnesty to Obamatrade, the establishment Republican Party has refused to represent the interests of Americans.
Perhaps nowhere is this more acutely noticeable than on the issue of immigration. Levin explained:
I’m offended by this notion that if you’re the child of a foreigner and you’re a foreigner, that you’re a ‘DREAMer.’ Do we talk about American citizen children as ‘Dreamers’?… Do you ever hear [the establishment parties] talk about young American children, or kids graduating college… and the impact that these outrageous policies have [on them]?
These observations led Levin to conclude that above all else, “The one thing the Republican Party can do is insist that its leaders resign.”
When asked whether he thought the efforts to oust Boehner as Speaker — such as those led by Congressman
Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC)
— would prove successful, Levin was not overly optimistic:
96%
Probably not, but to me that doesn’t matter. You have to start a movement, a force, an effort somewhere. If this were easy, John Boehner wouldn’t be Speaker right now. I expect the entrenched Republicans to do everything they can to trash someone like Meadows… because they are protecting the system, they are part of the system, and [Meadows is] challenging it.
Levin called for the emergence of “a new Civil Rights movement,” in which Americans insist that their leaders represent their interests.
I want to generate a new Civil Rights movement, not led by hucksters, not led by liberal frauds who use that nomenclature to justify every big government agenda item that they can — the left has stolen that phrase, ‘Civil Rights’ — we need to take it back using new media, old media, using every available tactic. It’s time for young people to stand up for themselves.
Levin explains that his new book — whose intended readership includes both what Levin terms as the “governing generation” and the “rising generation”– aims to “counter the textbooks that are pushing the left’s agenda” and “undo the propaganda that media, culture, [and] professors are constantly spewing.” Levin asserts that “Younger people are being manipulated,” and that far too many liberal-indoctrinated youths “are voting for their own demise.” Levin hopes that with this book, he will give Americans the facts they need to generate this new Civil Rights movement and force politicians to represent their interests.

Levin: Republican Leaders ‘Smother’ The ‘Few Voices Of Liberty’ In Congress
Talk show host and bestselling author Mark Levin believes the “ineffective” leadership of congressional Republicans is alienating conservatives and pushing some of them to embrace Donald Trump.
In the first installment of a three-part interview with The Daily Caller over his new book, “Plunder and Deceit,” Levin shared his views on the latest actions of the Republican-controlled Congress and how it’s affecting presidential politics.
In his opinion, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell knocking down Sen. Ted Cruz’s amendments to a highway bill — which included measures to defund Planned Parenthood and the Export-Import Bank — Sunday night was Washington at its worst. (RELATED: McConnell Angers Conservatives By Blocking Defunding Planned Parenthood, Kate’s Law)
“Those who are paying attention and are informed would be more repulsed by what McConnell, Lamar Alexander, Orin Hatch, John Cornyn et al. have done to the few voices of liberty in the Senate,” Levin told The Daily Caller. “They smother them and try to silence them and then go to liberal media outlets to trash them.”
“I think what McConell tried to do with the highway bill and the Export-Import Bank is quintessential Washington, which is to lie through your teeth,” the radio host added.
With these acts in mind, Levin believes it should be the task of conservatives like Cruz and Utah Senator Mike Lee to expose the Republican establishment’s supposed misdeeds.
“They’re called the establishment for a reason. They have established an ineffective and out of control government and they continue to feed it and to protect it,” the commentator told TheDC. “I really feel conservatives have an opportunity to expose this and to battle this and that we also need to make sure that our children and grandchildren — the next generation the generation after that — are protected from this.”
Considering, in Levin’s view, that this establishment is doing little to prevent the “coming catastrophe” of “out-of-control government,” it’s no surprise to the talk show host that many conservatives are flocking to the candidacy of Donald Trump.

Levin: ‘Unbridled Immigration, Legal and Illegal, Is Taking the Country Down’
“Immigration, legal and illegal, is taking the country down,” nationally syndicated radio show host Mark Levin stated in his broadcast on Thursday.
“Unbridled immigration, wave after wave after wave, which is what has taken place for the last 50 years, is killing this country,” Levin said. “Fundamentally altering this country, creating more poor American citizens in this country - and to what end?”
“Now I can go on and on; the case is overwhelming that unbridled immigration, wave after wave after wave, which is what has taken place for the last 50 years, is killing this country.
“Fundamentally altering this country, creating more poor American citizens in this country – and to what end?
“That information, all that information is in Plunder and Deceit on my chapter on immigration, but there’s a lot more because immigration is even more than that.
“It’s about foreigners coming into the country, not assimilating, and it’s about a federal government basically controlled by the Left, almost in a monopolistic way, which does not want assimilation, does not want Americanization because, as [President] Obama has said repeatedly, he and the Left despise America.
“So we have people escaping failed cultures, escaping failed economic systems, escaping failed governments, coming into this country and bringing all three of those with them –and our country encouraging it.
“So this does affect jobs. This does affect the economy. It sure as hell affects your children and grandchildren. It affects our school systems, it affects law enforcement – yes. It affects our health care system, it affects our entire country.
“Unbridled – wave after wave – immigration, legal and illegal, is taking the country down."

[AUDIO] Mark Levin: Obama Has Planted The Seeds Of World War III ....
Mark Levin opened his show tonight saying that Barack Obama has planted the seeds for World War III and sealed the fate of the next generation. Levin pointed out that he believes the next big war will now be in the Middle East and it will be horrific, especially with other countries arming up with nukes to protect themselves from Islamo-Nazi regime in Iran who constantly chants ‘death to Israel’, ‘death to America’. And Levin says they mean it

Mark Levin: 'We’ve Had a Silent Coup in This Country'
Nationally syndicated radio talk show host Mark Levin said that “we’ve had a silent coup in this country” with the Obama administration taking over healthcare, targeting the suburbs, and nationalizing the local police.
“His government doesn’t have the authority to do any of these things, but he does it,” Levin said on his July 8 broadcast. “Well, if that’s not martial law, what the hell is? We’ve had a silent coup in this country.”
“So, Obama’s pushing the ‘browning of America,’ not my phrase, theirs, ‘with open amnesty.’ Even if it means murderers, rapists and whatever come in. His friends in the sanctuary cities, he hasn’t spoken against a sanctuary city yet, has he? Despite the mayhem and the murder?
"Not a word. Nothing.
“He’s taken over our healthcare system and he’s destroying it. He’s destroying everything. And now, he is targeting the suburbs. He’s specifically targeting the suburbs. He’s nationalized local police departments effectively.
“You know people say, ‘Obama is going to declare martial law.’ He’s doesn’t have to declare it. He’s exercising it, isn’t he? His government doesn’t have the authority to do any of these things, but he does it.
"Well, if that’s not martial law, what the hell is?
“We’ve had a silent coup in this country. And the damn fools on the Supreme Court, most of them, not all of them … ‘Yes, yes. Yes he did. Prosecutorial discretion…we defer to the …’ Damn, fools."

GOP ESTABLISHMENT CAVES… TO CONSERVATIVES FOR ONCE!!!
While we’re all licking our wounds from being betrayed by Supreme Justice Benedict Roberts, let’s at least savor the fact that conservative criticism actually got the GOP establishment to cave to US for once!!
Facing enormous blowback, Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) on Thursday reversed his decision and said he was reinstating Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) as a subcommittee chairman.Chaffetz stripped Meadows of his subcommittee gavel last week after the congressman joined nearly three dozen other conservatives in voting against leadership on a procedural motion that nearly scuttled a major trade package.Last week’s move was part of a pattern of punishment targeting conservatives who’ve defied leadership on key votes. But Chaffetz soon came under heavy fire from conservatives, including Laura Ingraham, Mark Levin and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), who’s running for president. By Thursday, Chaffetz had backpedalled, saying a number of colleagues had urged him to reconsider his decision.
Sorry Boehner, but I don’t think Mark Levin is gonna back down even after this minor capitulation.
“Having spoken with Mark Meadows several times during the past week, I think we both better understand each other. I respect Mark and his approach. The discussions and candor have been healthy and productive,” Chaffetz said in a statement.
BOOM! Geez, crapping on conservatives is usually the only time the GOP establishment grows a spine! Mark that a score for the good guys, Smokey.

MARK LEVIN: WHAT THE HELL DOES THE CONFEDERATE FLAG HAVE TO DO WITH ANY OF THIS?
Mark Levin opened his show saying that once again the nation is focused on the left’s agenda, removing the Confederate flag, when it had absolutely nothing to do with what happened in Charleston. He also rips Obama for his use of the n-word and his comments on racism being in our DNA.

Breitbart Exclusive — Mark Levin: Boehner’s Retaliation Against Conservatives Means Open Warfare, Time To Take Him Down
It’s time for conservatives to take out House Speaker
Rep. John Boehner (R-OH)
35%
and all of his comrades in primaries, nationally syndicated radio host, New York Times bestselling author, and conservative movement thought leader Mark Levin argues in an exclusive comment to Breitbart News.
35%
Levin’s comments come after Boehner’s retaliation against conservatives hit a new low this weekend, with a report from Politico about how House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform chairman
Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT)
—playing along with Boehner’s scheme to attack Republicans for voting their conscience—removed
80%
Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC)
as the chairman of a subcommittee on his full committee. Levin even compared Boehner to 20th century Communist Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin and how he cleansed his government of all dissent.
96%
“Speaker Boehner’s and Congressman Chaffetz’s removal of Meadows is the latest in a series of ideologically-driven attacks on conservatives. Boehner seems to think he’s Stalin cleaning out all opposition in the Kremlin,” Levin said. “No Republican Speaker in recent times has behaved with less integrity in his wielding of power.”
Levin said that Boehner, House Majority Leader
Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA)
, and Majority Whip
45%
Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA)
—and more—each need to be removed by Republicans across the country in primaries in 2016. He says this is because the leadership has failed to learn the proper lessons from the astronomical defeat of now former House Majority Leader Eric Cantor in 2014 in a primary against now Rep. Dave Brat (R-VA), the first time in U.S. history a sitting House Majority Leader was defeated in a primary. The position of majority leader was created in the late 1800s, so that means this never happened for more than a century—and Levin is calling out GOP leadership for failing to learn from the unprecedented event.
74%
“Obviously, the lessons of Eric Cantor’s humiliating loss have not resonated with Boehner, McCarthy, and Scalise,” Levin said. “The only solution is for Conservatives to husband their resources and target these three in the coming Republican primaries. Conservatives need to find serious candidates and raise funds nationwide to defeat them. Let them fight for their political careers as our response to their disgusting and pathetic behavior.”
For primaries, Boehner already has an opponent declared—J.D. Winteregg. Winteregg ran against Boehner last cycle and didn’t win, but he is getting even more aggressive this time around.

Levin: Obama Has No ‘Constitutional Authority To Do Half of What He’s Doing’
(CNSNews.com) -- At a meeting of Tea Party conservatives in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, conservative talk radio host Mark Levin said President Barack Obama “doesn’t have the constitutional authority to do half of what he’s doing,” and added that the “Republican leadership” has not taken any steps to stop Obama's unconstitutional actions.
CNSNews.com asked Levin, “Do you believe Obama has the constitutional authority to address climate change or minimum wage without congressional approval?”
Levin said, “Of course not. He doesn’t have the constitutional authority to do half of what he’s doing.”
“But nobody appears to want to stop him,” said Levin. “Has the Republican leadership taken any steps whatsoever? No."
"It’s about time when the Supreme Court gets a chance it steps up too," he said. "But, so far it’s given him power he doesn’t have under the Constitution on the health care law; it’s given him power he doesn’t have under the immigration law; it’s given him power he doesn’t have under DOMA [Defense of Marriage Act]. So the Supreme Court looks like it’s willing to go along with this.”

[VIDEO] Mark Levin EXPLODES: Oprah Winfrey Has NO IDEA What It’s Like To Live In A Country That Is Brutally Racist
Mark Levin rips into Oprah Winfrey for her comments to the BBC on Friday noting that the neither she, nor many of us, know what it’s like to live in a country that really is brutally racist. And she of all people, who has gained so much from this country and is living in the lap of luxury because of it, is now trashing the country.
Levin asks, if the country were as bad as she and some of the other race-baiters claim it is, then when are people literally dying trying to get here?

Mark Levin Makes Mincemeat Out of Martin Bashir
MARK LEVIN: This guy -- what is his name? Martin Bashir -- if that is his name, Martin Bashir -- Friday closed his show with likely the most disgraceful rant against former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin you've ever heard. Hey tough guy, Martin Bashir, you like picking on women? You like picking on a mother and a grandmother? You a tough guy, pal? You strike me as not tough at all, if you get my drift. As a little puke, tough guy.
.
Besides calling her America's resident dunce and claiming she has a deceased mind, Bashir suggested that someone should defecate in her mouth and urinate in her eyes. And this is a long clip which I will not play because I don't want to disturb you folks about what goes on on this pathetic little carbon footprint called MSLSD.

Good News on a Convention of States
It’s Liberty Amendments Monday again, here at TheRightScoop, and we’ve got good news.
As you know I’ve been banging away at code like …well, whatever you’d call it, if I were President, Oprah would say it’s racist. Anyway, I’ve been a bit preoccupied with my small part of the effort, but others have most definitely been hard at work as well.
We’ve discussed the state of Indiana here before. Republican Governor Mike Pence (a strong conservative that people seem to forget about in regard to 2016) is the most recognizable name in Indiana politics. But Indiana’s General Assembly appears to be leading the way among states in calling for a Convention for Proposing Amendments. David Long (R-Fort Wayne) is the Indiana Senate Majority leader, and he’s convening a Mount Vernon Assembly of representatives from the states’ legislatures to begin the long hard work of co-ordinating “applications” to present to Congress. He spoke with Mark Levin the other night and said he had twenty-six states “committed” to the project. They convene at Mount Vernon December 7th.
That’s major progress. But it’s not the only good news to report.
Many of you have linked to ConventionOfStates.com as a resource for people. This group has produced a new version of their Convention Of States Handbook. This is a good resource for people who want to know what they can do to help make this a reality. It’s definitely something to download and read as soon as you can get to it.
And finally, The ArticleFiveProcess site is settling in as far as presentation and data flow is concerned. This week I hope to have the “State Wrangler” panel finished. When that’s done, the rest is mere draperies and carpet (and a few ugly graphics things to fix, still). Right now the data is live, and I believe folks can submit the forms (but I won’t swear to that). You are asked to use an email confirmation thingy. We don’t do anything with this but make it hard for people to fake being you. This helps make the data more useful. At any rate, if you know of a representative’s position, please stop by and fill out a form. (By the way, you get there by following the link to the Article Five Data HQ). The Scoreboard will be updated as soon as I put on my “wrangler” hat. If anyone has a better word than ‘wrangler,’ do tell.

Mark Levin: The RINOs Want A Terry McAuliffe Victory In Virginia
On the Monday broadcast of his radio program Mark Levin expounded on a Facebook entry he made earlier in the day:
The RINOs want a Terry McAuliffe victory in Virginia.Via: Real Clear Politics
Many in the GOP establishment, from major fundraisers and consultants, to GOP officeholders such as the GOP Lt. Gov and mayor of Virginia Beach, have either trashed Attorney General Ken Cuccinnelli or endorsed McAuliffe outright. The GOP national machine has done next to nothing for Cuccinnelli. And GOP bag man, Karl Rove, is all over Fox without a word of support for Cuccinnelli, while he schemes and whispers behind the scenes against conservatives nationwide.
Having tried to sabotage Cuccinnelli's candidacy from the start, these GOP actors are hoping for a Cuccinnelli loss and a big Chris Christie win (built on a Huey Long style of politics) to make the case that only big government Republicans can win and limited government, constitutional conservatives, such as Tea Party activists, are too extreme to prevail. They've already written the script.
In fact, the GOP establishment's attacks on the Tea Party, which is an obvious assault on conservatives and conservatism generally, are increasingly difficult to distinguish from Obama and the Left's attacks on the same folks. The ruling class in Washington is clearly united in one respect: to wipe out conservative resistance to their corruption, cronyism, and nation-killing policies.
Keep an eye on RINO columnists like Washington Compost mouthpiece Jennifer Rubin, as well as Rove and other commentators on cable TV, who have and will continue to reveal it all through their myopic ruling class lenses in the days ahead. As I said, their propaganda is written and ready to spread. And they'll be given soap box after soap box to spin away.
Meanwhile, despite it all, including tens of millions of dollars in relentless leftwing smear ads funded by truly extreme groups hoping to beat Cuccinnelli and turn Virginia into Hillary Clinton territory in 2016, much of the big GOP money stays on the sidelines. Better to try to clear the field of conservatives who threaten the ruling class and its preferred nominees. Better to protect the RINO investment in big government than beat Hillary. The conservative grassroots is to be crushed and dispirited.
So, that's the game. Still, recent polls show Cuccinnelli closing fast. This makes the Left and RINOs very nervous. The rest of us are cheering, and hopefully helping, the underdog. We identify with him, not the sleazy McAuliffe, his radical donors, and the ruling class. We won't retreat. We won't give up. We will fight for the last vote. What a sweet victory it would be! But make no mistake, this is one of many, many battles to come, win, lose, or recount.
