IPCC 's Bogus Evidence for Global Warming

The United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) was set up by the United Nations in 1988 and has been trying very hard to demonstrate the threat of a dangerous human influence on climate due to the emission of greenhouse gases.  This is in line with their Charter, which directs the IPCC to assemble reports in support of the Global Climate Treaty -- the 1992 Framework Convention on Climate Change (FCCC) of Rio de Janeiro.
It is interesting that IPCC "evidence" was based on peer-reviewed publications - but (reluctantly) abandoned only after protracted critiques from outside scientists.  E-mails among members of the IPCC team, revealed in the 2009 'Climategate' leak, describe their strenuous efforts to silence such critiques, often using unethical methods.
I will show here that the first three IPCC assessment reports contain erroneous scientific arguments, which have never been retracted or formally corrected, but at least have now been abandoned by the IPCC -- while the last two reports, AR4 and AR5, use an argument that seems to be circular and does not support their conclusion.  Australian Prof. "Bob" Carter, marine geologist and paleo-climatologist, refers to IPCC as using "hocus-pocus" science.  He is a co-author of the latest (2013) NIPCC (Non-governmental International Panel on Climate Change) report "Climate Change Reconsidered".

Federal Appeals Court Delivers 'Significant Victory' for Catholics Fighting HHS Mandate

HHS mandate(CNSNews.com) - In a 2-1 ruling on Friday, a federal appeals court in Chicago upheld the rights of both individuals and companies to challenge Obamacare's contraception-abortifacient-sterilization mandate.
It is the first decision of its kind in the ongoing litigation against the requirement that all employers -- despite their deeply held religious beliefs -- must arrange and pay for employee health insurance that covers no-cost contraceptives, abortion-inducing drugs, and sterilization, under penalty of fine.
"This is a significant victory for protecting the religious beliefs of individuals and corporations," said Edward White, senior counsel of the American Center for Law and Justice, who represents one of the plaintiffs, an Illinois company.
"It is also important to note that the appeals court determined that the HHS mandate should not move forward against our clients while this issue is being litigated. It has been our position from the beginning that the HHS mandate violates America's longstanding history of protecting conscience rights. The mandate is unlawfully compelling employers such as our clients to do the following: abandon their faith to comply with the law, or follow their faith and pay significant annual penalties to the federal government. The decision by the appeals court is encouraging as this issue heads to the Supreme Court."

[VIDEO] Bill Clinton: Obama Should Honor His ‘Keep Your Plan’ Promise

BY:
In an interview with OZY, Former President Bill Clinton said Obama should honor his promise that people could keep their plans under ObamaCare if they liked them.
“So I personally believe, even if it takes a change to the law, the president should honor the commitment the federal government made to those people and let them keep what they got,” Clinton said.

Kansas lawmakers: Sebelius tarnished her family’s political legacy

Kansas lawmakers: Sebelius tarnished her family’s political legacyU.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius’ disastrous Obamacare rollout has disgraced her family’s vaunted political legacy in her home state of Kansas, lawmakers told The Daily Caller.
“The joke around the capitol is that the rollout on Obamacare is so bad that even Keith Sebelius would be calling for her resignation,” Kansas state Senate Majority Leader Terry Bruce told TheDC, referring to Sebelius’ late Republican congressman father-in-law, whose last name she shares.
Sebelius, a former Democratic Kansas governor who oversaw the launch of the glitch-ridden Healthcare.gov website and an enrollment period that has led to numerous Kansans and other Americans losing their existing health insurance plans, even lost the confidence of her father-in-law’s closest protege.
Republican U.S. Senator Pat Roberts recently called for Sebelius to resign, even requesting as much to Sebelius’ face in a Senate Finance Committee hearing last week while Sebelius sat “stony-faced.” The move shocked many Kansas insiders who remember Roberts’ decade-long tenure as an aide to his mentor Rep. Keith Sebelius.
Roberts, 77, served as administrative assistant to popular West Kansas congressman Sebelius from 1969 to 1980, when he was elected to fill Sebelius’ seat after his boss’ retirement.
“Each year, they would go around on a tour of the entire district and Pat was by [Keith]‘s side the entire time during those tours. That’s how Pat built up his name,” Bruce said.
“Personally there was always a respectful relationship” between Roberts and the Sebelius family, including Kathleen, “and this has obviously put strains on that and made the relationship a lot more distant,” Bruce said.
Kathleen Sebelius, daughter of a former Ohio governor, is married to federal magistrate judge K. Gary Sebelius, son of the late congressman. The judge’s position in Kansas discourages many people from talking publicly about his wife’s disgrace.

Sharpton, Joan Walsh Unload on Palin for Slavery Remark: Feeding ‘White Grievance Industry’

Al Sharpton wasted no time on Monday night tearing into Sarah Palin for comparing the national debt to slavery, with the qualifying phrase “this isn’t racist.” Sharpton said, “It’s hard to avoid sounding racist when you make comparisons like that,” and was joined by Cynthia Tucker and Joan Walsh in the ensuing Palin pile-on.
Sharpton brought up Palin’s low approval ratings and argued that part of the reason the Republicans and tea party suffer from low approvals as well is because they “repeat her talking points,” and called on them to “reject Palin’s brand of extremism instead of copying it.”
Tucker said that for the GOP, slavery is just like rape, because every time they openly speak about either, “they’ll say something stupid.” Walsh, however, differed from Sharpton’s talk of “extremism” by charging that “Sarah Palin is the mainstream of the Republican party.” Walsh added, “When you’re tempted to preface something by saying ‘this isn’t racist,’ maybe you should check yourself and think about it, because it probably is.’”
Walsh added that Palin’s just fueling the “white grievance industry” with charged comments like that.

EXCLUSIVE: SNEAK PEEK AT NEW ALLEN WEST BOOK

Coming in April 2014 from Crown Forum, an imprint of Penguin Random House Inc, is the eagerly-awaited first book penned by former Congressman Allen West: Guardian of the Republic: An American Ronin's Journey to Faith, Family and Freedom.

Over the course of the past few decades, Allen West has had many titles bestowed on him, among them Lt. Colonel, U.S. Representative, “Dad,” and Scourge of the Far Left. He rose from humble beginnings in Atlanta where his father instilled in him a code of conduct that would inform his life ever after.  Throughout his years leading troops, raising a loving family, serving as Congressman in Florida’s 22nd district, and emerging as one of the most authentic voices in conservative politics, West has never compromised the core values on which he was raised: family, faith, tradition, service, honor, fiscal responsibility, courage, freedom.
Today, these values are under attack as never before, and as the far Left intensifies its assaults, few have been as vigorous as West in pushing back.  Now more than ever, the American republic needs a guardian: a principled, informed conservative who understands where we came from, who can trace the philosophical roots of our faith and freedom, and who has a plan to get America back on track. West isn’t afraid to speak truth to power, and in this book he’ll share the experiences that shaped him and the beliefs he would die to defend.
Above is an exclusive look at the jacket image.

The unspoken success of ObamaCare

Despite what you are being told, the Affordable Health Care Act (ACA), commonly known as ObamaCare, is already proving to be a resounding success. The problem, however, is that the majority of Americans don’t fully understand the objectives of this plan, or the roles of its architects and its defenders. Even the vast majority of conservative pundits in all venues don’t seem to ‘get it’ and consequently, are leading their readers and listeners astray by focusing on the wrong issues.

First, it is vital to understand that the ACA is not now, nor never was, about providing affordable health care. It is merely disguised as such. Rather, it is thevehicle that is being covertly used to conduct the most massive transfer of power to the Executive Branch of government that this nation has ever experienced. It is being done methodically and for a specific purpose. It is the vehiclethat will ultimately disassemble and destroy significant parts of the United States Constitution and further enslave United States citizens.

Presently, all eyes are on the ostensible failures of the internet gateway or ACA website. This is precisely where the Obama regime and globalist handlers want our focus to be. The reason is that they want us to get caught up in the minutia and not see the bigger picture. But it’s a failure, you might say, and ascribe the failure to incompetence, graft, and so on. While generally true, we are being forced to examine only one tentacle of the octopus, while the rest of the creature is being hidden from view.

More than $150MILLION in U.S. contracts with Afghan companies have gone to groups that back anti-American terrorist attacks

A new investigation has revealed that the U.S. government has paid more than $150million to groups that fund terror attacks against American soldiers.

The findings have been reported by the Pentagon itself as the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction compiled a list of 43 such companies who are connected to Taliban leaders who have arranged bombs and attacks on American targets.

'It's like the United States government subsidizing the Taliban, al Qaeda, the Haqqani network, those groups that are trying to shoot and kill our soldiers,' New Hampshire Senator Jeanne Shaheen told ABC News.

Outrage: Senator Jeanne Shaheen spoke out after the report from the Pentagon revealed that 43 Afghan companies that the U.S. government awarded contracts to have connections to terrorist groups.

The Haqqani Network may be lesser known of those three groups, but they are familiar to security experts.

The group has been blamed for the attack on the American embassy in Kabul in 2011 that left 16 people dead.

Rather than give money to the group directly, the way that American funds have made its way through to the organization is via a road construction company that is owned by the Haqqani Network.

The company is one of 43 such private companies that the government has given contracts to, and although they have denied the connection to the Haqqani Network, the Pentagon still listed them in the report.

EXCLUSIVE–REP. MO BROOKS: AMNESTY WOULD ECONOMICALLY 'DEBILITATE' AMERICA, DOMESTIC WORKERS

Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) told Breitbart News in an exclusive phone interview late last week that Republicans must stand up to stop amnesty because Democrats do not care about the disastrous economic effects such a policy like the Senate’s “Gang of Eight” bill would have on the country.

“The Senate Gang of Eight bill is yet another tragedy for the American worker,” Brooks said.
It either legalizes or imports more than 44 million foreigners over the next decade. When you consider that our entire population is only a little over 300 million, to have a roughly 15 percent increase in our population through legalization of illegals and importation of more foreigners, that’s quite significant. The dramatic increase in the labor supply will, according to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) over the next decade, increase the unemployment rate for American workers, cut the average income for American workers—those who are lucky enough to get a job—and cut our Gross Domestic Product [GDP] per capita.
If amnesty like the Senate bill were ever to become law, the economic impact would be even worse on black and Hispanic communities. Brooks said that while some Republicans understand that, none of the Democrats even care about those impacts. “The Democrats don’t give a flip about the economic status of minority voters after the impact of 44 million legalized or imported foreigners,” Brooks said. “They’ll talk the game. They’ll drive the cries of racism in order to get voters on an emotional level while at the same time undermining the ability of American minority workers to support their own families.”

Glitch flubs prices on O-Care exchange

About 8,000 Washington state residents were told they qualified for more generous tax subsidies than they will actually receive when they enrolled for ObamaCare via their state's online marketplace.

A technical glitch meant the Washington website sent the applicants' monthly income to a federal hub instead of their yearly income, according to a report in The Seattle Times.

Based on that incorrect information, consumers were told they qualified for higher tax credits and would pay less for their health insurance.

That led many enrollees in the Washington exchange to select generous insurance plans they likely won't be able to afford once their subsidies are reduced.

Those 8,000 individuals likely will need to go through the entire application process again to see what plans at what prices they qualify for under the correct tax subsidy.

“We are still trying to figure out how this happened," exchange CEO Richard Onizuka told the paper.

The revelation is the latest in a string of technical mishaps to plague early enrollment in the ObamaCare exchanges. The federal website — which processes applications for residents of the 38 states who do not run their own portals, like Washington does — is still reporting errors and glitches. HealthCare.gov czar Jeffrey Zients told reporters on Friday the website was a “long way from where it needs to be.”

The 8,000 individuals who will have to go through the enrollment process again will also likely trigger additional concern over what appear to be lagging early enrollment figures.

Consulting firm Avalere Health estimated that fewer than 50,000 individuals had signed up for coverage on the exchanges of Washington and 11 other states. The 8,000 individuals affected by the technical error represent more than 15 percent of that total.

Ponzi-palooza: Obama Versus Bernie Madoff

obama_madoff_11-11-13-2But let’s compare the similarities. First up, the rabid, “you’re a fool if you don’t give this man all your money” tone of the early true believers:
Obama’s finest speeches do not excite. They do not inform. They don’t even really inspire. They elevate. They enmesh you in a grander moment, as if history has stopped flowing passively by, and, just for an instant, contracted around you, made you aware of its presence, and your role in it. He is not the Word made flesh, but the triumph of word over flesh, over color, over despair. The other great leaders I’ve heard guide us towards a better politics, but Obama is, at his best, able to call us back to our highest selves, to the place where America exists as a glittering ideal, and where we, its honored inhabitants, seem capable of achieving it, and thus of sharing in its meaning and transcendence.
— JournoList founder and Washington Post journalist Ezra Klein, at the start of 2008.
Jerry Reisman, who met him at the Glen Oaks Country Club in Westbury, New York, said: “He moved in some of the best social circles in New York. He worked the best country clubs. He was utterly charming. He was a master at meeting people and creating this aura. People looked at him as a superhero.“People didn’t want to know what he was doing. If it’s too good to be true, it isn’t true. But people didn’t care. They were greedy.”
Smug, too. Jeffrey Gural, chairman of real estate firm Newmark Knight Frank told the New York Times that he was teased by his friends after Madoff refused to let his family invest in the fund because he would not put up a minimum of $20 million. He said: “They thought Bernie Madoff was a genius, and that anyone who didn’t give him their money was a fool.”
The revelation that they were the fools has left Madoff investors devastated.
— “Bernard Madoff: how did he get away with it for so long?”, the London Telegraph, December 20th, 2008.
Those who were swindled no doubt feel nostalgia for the good times they initially enjoyed. Not to mention, that initial rush of smug superiority that came from being “in the know,” unlike the ignorant naifs outside of their social circle:
Meade pointed me to that just now, and it made me laugh (and cringe). I knew I’d already talked about an Obama nostalgia movement — here, 3 days ago — but I see I was talking about it as far back as October 2011.

VETERANS JOIN TEA PARTY TO DEFEND CONSTITUTION AT HOME

On Breitbart News Sunday on Sirius XM Patriot channel 125, veterans who are involved in the Tea Party movement joined Breitbart News Executive Chairman and host Stephen K. Bannon to discuss why they joined the movement to fight for the country at home after serving abroad.

Christian Stevens, an Army veteran, said he often sees the same people at VFW and Tea Party meetings, and he emphasized that he took an oath to "protect against all enemies foreign and domestic--and Tea party is doing the domestic side."
Mark Herr, an Air Force veteran, is involved in the Center for Self-Governance and the Mid-South Tea Party movement, and he told Bannon that he never understood the oath to the people of America until after he joined the military. He said there is a "sense of obligation to stand up and defend the republic so that the next generation can enjoy the freedom and liberties brought to us by the Founding Fathers."
Stevens emphasized that the Constitution is a limiting document and what worries him is that he has seen countries abroad break apart because of too much government, and that is a major reason why he has been so involved in the Tea Party movement.
Mark Hager, an Army veteran, also emphasized that the "commonality" among veterans in the Tea Party movement is they had to "give an oath to preserve the Constitution and save it from all enemies foreign and domestic," and it was only fitting to protect the Constitution on the domestic side.
Herr, the Air Force veteran, said that veterans have been galvanized because of the "realization that the Constitution is the most unique type of government in the history of mankind" in that it allows average citizens to "control institutional government."

New Mental Health Mandate Will Make Obamacare More Expensive, Increase Fraud And Canceled Policies

Even as stories pour in of Americans facing steeply higherhealth insurance premiums and canceled coverage, Team TISI 0%Obama just imposed new regulations that will make those problems worse.  It’s almost like they can’t help themselves.
On Friday, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius announced new regulations mandating health insurers cover mental and behavioral health to the same extent they cover physical health care.
A “mental health parity” mandate was passed by Congress in 2008, but Obama officials claim health insurers aren’t fully complying.  (You’ll just have to overlook the irony of the Obama administration, which has postponed several provisions of Obamacare without any legal authority to do so, complaining that others aren’t complying with some law.)
The more likely explanation is the administration is desperately trying to redirect peoples’ attention from the Obamacare rollout that has become a non-stop string of stories about failed websites, higher premiums and canceled policies.
President Obama’s latest effort to divert public attention ignores a fundamental problem: it’s much easier to know when a broken bone has healed than a broken mind.  That ambiguity opens the door to overtreatment and fraud.
