Next Stop for Democrats, Comedy Central

For the past few days there has been a cornucopia of good material coming out the democrat party. There is no way to explain why the left (which includes both the politicians and the liberal media) has chosen to entertain instead of inform us with their condescending rants day after day with no clear message. It certainly does not give us a warm and fuzzy feeling that these are the people that have been chosen to run our country. It only goes to solidify what most of us already know, we are surrounded by comedians who are masquerading as politicians. I have only had to travel back a few days in time to get material for this routine.

In order to put this all in perspective you have to start at the top and what better place to start is with President Obama.

“I want clean energy to happen here in the United State. I want advanced batteries made here in the United States. I want electric cars made here in the United States. I want solar and wind power here in the United State. We’ve been subsidizing oil companies with taxpayer giveaways for about a hundred years now. It’s time to double down in clean energy that’s never been more promising.”

We are always in aw over his "all of the above" energy strategy. It sounds more like an "all of the above ground" strategy. Not one mention of fossil fuels which leads me to the First Lady.

When you add Michelle Obama’s melodious comments you come up with a pair that beats anything else. Might I digress?

"This President has brought us out of the dark and into the light."

One should hope that she is not talking about electricity because if Obama’s EPA keeps over regulating the power industry there is going to be no light and plenty of dark.

Then we have none other than Senator Harry Reid giving his reasons for needing to pass the 21st Century Postal Service Act. (It’s just another bailout):

“And when talking about seniors, seniors love getting junk mail. It’s sometimes their only way of communicating or feeling like they’re part of the real world.”

His counterpart in the House, Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi must have hired a new writer because she is getting funnier and funnier by the day and to it prove she uttered these heart stopping words.

“I’m proud of the accomplishments of the Democratic-led Congress on behalf of equal pay and fairness. The Lilly Ledbetter Act — the first bill President Obama signed into law —restored the right of women and other workers to challenge unfair pay in court.”

This would probably be a “LITTLE” more credible if it weren’t celebrated on the heels of a report that the White House pays women 18% less than their male counterparts for the same positions.

Not to be outdone, we have Debbie Wasserman Shultz Chairwoman of the DNC talking smack about the current administration:

“President Obama has, as President, adopted the highest ethical standards and requirement of his staff of any president in history both in the White House and across the administration.”

Did they forget to send her the memo about “Fast & Furious”, “The GSA Scandel”, and “The Secret Service”? One can only wonder how she got picked for this position in the first place, but picking a name out of hat is on the top of my list.

As the voice of the White House, Jay Carney has dazzled us time and time again, and this week was no exception when confronted about the numerous scandals that this administration is smack in the middle of. (It’s hard to believe he is the press secretary. What? Were all the editing jobs taken at the New York Times?)

"The President has been crystal clear since he was a candidate about the standards that he insists be met by those who work for the federal government and on behalf of the American people and for the American people.”

He also went on to say that "I think most Americans are extremely focused on the economy, making ends meet." That and $850,000 for a 2010 Las Vegas Party for the GSA. I thought Obama had said in 2010 that "You don't blow a bunch of cash on Vegas."  Someone did not get the message.

The list would not be complete if we did not include the “Gaff King” of all time, our very own Joe Biden. You don’t have to go very far too illicit a good laugh at the expense of the vice-president.

"So when you all pay your taxes next week, you ... ought to be able to know that everyone else is paying their fair share as well."
Joe, does this include the 50% that don’t pay income taxes?

To close out the whole comedic overtones that overshadow the entire Obama Presidency, Jay Leno said it best during one of his monologues this week:

"President Obama released his tax returns. It turns out he made $900,000 less in 2011 than he did in 2010. You know what that means? Even Obama is doing worse under President Obama.”

Enough said.
