Watch: Unexpected Military Exercise In US City Shocks Residents And Raises Serious Questions

For the past few months, Western Journalism has been reporting on Jade Helm 15, the so-called “military exercise” the Pentagon claims is a training mission being conducted in Texas and other states in the southwest United States. Ted Cruz — the senator from the Lone Star State who’s running for the GOP presidential nomination — has said he appreciates those, including Chuck Norris, who are skeptical of the government’s explanation for the widespread troop and equipment movements and maneuvers.
As B. Christopher Agee noted in a recent post on Western Journalism:
Jade Helm 15, a planned military exercise that has sparked speculation of an underlying effort to institute martial law, is now getting the attention of some high-profile figures in the southwestern states affected.
Chuck Norris spoke out recently, echoing the fears many have regarding the actual scope of the domestic mission. He made it clear, however, that his grievance is not directed toward the enlisted men and women ordered to take part.
Now, as WNEM-TV reports, the U.S. Army is also conducting military exercises in Flint, Mich., where residents say they were caught off-guard when explosions rocked portions of the city. A spokesman for Flint city government says the blasts were part of a training program to help prepare the military for combat in urban environments.

MSNBC's Taylor Suggests DeMint Wears 'Clown Pajamas'

On Tuesday's PoliticsNation, MSNBC contributor Goldie Taylor accused the Heritage Foundation of "strapping dynamite to the bridge" in trying to influence the agreement to end the government shutdown, and went on to mock Heritage President Jim DeMint as wearing "clown pajamas."

After host Al Sharpton griped about DeMint being a "far, far right" influence on congressional members, Taylor complained:
In effect, what Heritage has done is they have strapped dynamite to the bridge on the way to reconciliation in opening up this government.
A bit later, Sharpton played a clip of Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz using a Chuck Norris joke to praise DeMint. Cruz:
Kids all over the world wear Superman pajamas. Superman wears Chuck Norris pajamas. And let me tell you, Chuck Norris wears Jim DeMint pajamas.
Taylor cracked:
I think that Jim DeMint probably wears the clown pajamas, is what it really sounds like.
Below is a transcript of the relevant portion of the Tuesday, October 15, PoliticsNation on MSNBC:
AL SHARPTON: They were going to deal with the shutdown, avoid the default. DeMint comes out with the Heritage Action, says don't vote. He (Speaker John Boehner) backs down. Last week Jim DeMint wrote a letter to President Obama on ObamaCare. He writes, "We believe the law should be fully repealed, but at minimum both sides should agree not to fund the law for one year, a time out that would halt the law's most harmful effects before they start."

Chuck Norris Warns America

America’s favorite action star is doing just that this election – calling on evangelical Christians across the nation to join him in crushing the creep of socialism under President Obama.
Norris and his wife, Gena, have filmed a public service announcement, unveiled exclusively at WND, wherein the two urge Christians to help save the country in November.
“We are here to talk about a growing concern we all share,” Chuck Norris explains. “If we look to history, our great country and freedom are under attack. We’re at a tipping point and, quite possibly, our country as we know it may be lost forever if we don’t change the course in which our country is headed.”
Gena warns that voter apathy among evangelicals in 2008 may have contributed to Obama’s election in the first place.
“With our country at a crossroads, Chuck and I have asked ourselves what we can be doing to help support this great country we’re blessed to live in and how we can encourage our like-minded American brothers and sisters to unite and let their voices be heard,” she said. “It is estimated that in the 2008 election, 30 million evangelical Christians stayed home on voting day and Obama won the election by 10 million votes.”
Chuck cautions Christians about the cost of doing nothing while the nation spirals into a state of socialism from which there will be no return.
“We know you love your family and your freedom as much as Gena and I do,” he says in his appeal to Americans. “And it is because of that we can no longer sit quietly or stand on the sidelines and watch our country go the way of socialism or something much worse.”
Gena urged Christians to register and cast their votes on Election Day to ensure “our voices will be heard.”
Chuck recalled the cautionary words of great patriots on the subject of preserving liberty:
“As Edmund Burke said, ‘All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men (and women) to do nothing.’
