Why compassion for illegal immigration is wrong

Unchecked immigration is destroying our nation by undermining and overrunning the very institution that was built to harbor immigrants through the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution…

Don’t call it compassion when the president, elected officials or a candidate takes a stand that illegal immigrants deserve a pass to stay in this country and receive citizenship, let alone resident status. It is approval of America’s demise; an uncontrolled decimation of what the Founders established in the new world expressly to provide free exercise of faith, industry and speech.

What our forefathers pioneered was a new nation steeped in the acceptance of immigrants who wanted one thing—to escape the ancient order of tyranny. And they came from many countries to enjoy the newfound freedom that was available nowhere else in the world.
Today, the concept of true freedom to follow one’s individual faith and entrepreneurship is still only possible in one place, America, though that distinction is rapidly disappearing given the growth of theocracies and autocracies around the rest of the globe, and the importation of those liberty-crushing ideals on the back of illegal and state-sponsored immigration. The United States is also losing that exceptionalism due to the internal stresses brought about by fractional factionalists pressuring government for equality that is already in effect.

The reckless concept that special populations deserve special rights goes beyond the complete equality institutionalized by the Declaration of Independence from the beginning of this nation. It is creating privileged classes that oppress the majority of others who differ in opinions and lifestyles.

Why the new form of immigration is unacceptable is that it counters how and why America embraced immigrants over the generations. Immigration was encouraged to fill out the lands with productive individuals who purposefully left their past behind. They came with little or nothing, dreaming of a new life for their families, one that secured liberty from the old regime of oppression. My own forebears fled the pogroms of Russia, intent on basking in the freedom of America, not hauling along the tyranny of religious and antiquated European social prejudice.

The Ten Most Abusive Obama Executive Actions

President Obama has made liberal use of "executive action" throughout his presidency, and pledged to make even more use of executive action in this year's State of the Union speech. He seems to think that because Republicans don't want to implement his agenda, he can go around Congress.
The Heritage Foundation is out with a new report on President Obama's executive actions, titled "An Executive Unbound," finding that "abusive, unlawful, even potentially unconstitutional unilateral action has been a hallmark of the Obama Administration." They've also compiled a list of the top ten abusive executive actions taken by the President.
1. Amending Obamacare’s employer mandate, providing an unauthorized subsidy to congressional staff, and encouraging state insurance commissioners not to enforce certain requirements.
2 Inventing labor law “exemptions” in violation of the WARN Act so that workers would not receive notice of impending layoffs days before the 2012 election.
3. Waiving the mandatory work requirement under the 1996 comprehensive welfare reform law, which required able-bodied adults to work, prepare for work, or look for work in order to receive benefits under the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program.
4. Ignoring a statutory deadline and refusing to consider an application related to nuclear waste storage at Yucca Mountain, which activists sought to block for years.
5. Circumventing the Senate’s duty to provide advice and consent on appointments and instead making “recess” appointments in violation of Article II, Section 2 of the Constitution when the Senate was actually in session.
6. Deciding not to defend the constitutionality of the federal definition of marriage in court.
7. Implementing Common Core national standards through strings-attached waivers from the No Child Left Behind Act.
8. Intimidating Florida to stop its voter roll cleanup, which included removing ineligible voters such as noncitizens, before the 2012 election.
9. Imposing the DREAM Act by executive fiat under the guise of “prosecutorial discretion.”
10. Refusing to enforce federal drug laws in states that have legalized marijuana.
Heritage's entire report is an excellent read - and these are ten of the most egregious actions of the Obama Administration.

Levin: Obama Has No ‘Constitutional Authority To Do Half of What He’s Doing’

levin(CNSNews.com) -- At a meeting of Tea Party conservatives in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, conservative talk radio host Mark Levin said President Barack Obama “doesn’t have the constitutional authority to do half of what he’s doing,” and added that the “Republican leadership” has not taken any steps to stop Obama's unconstitutional actions.
CNSNews.com asked Levin, “Do you believe Obama has the constitutional authority to address climate change or minimum wage without congressional approval?”
Levin said, “Of course not. He doesn’t have the constitutional authority to do half of what he’s doing.”
“But nobody appears to want to stop him,” said Levin.  “Has the Republican leadership taken any steps whatsoever? No."
"It’s about time when the Supreme Court gets a chance it steps up too," he said.  "But, so far it’s given him power he doesn’t have under the Constitution on the health care law; it’s given him power he doesn’t have under the immigration law; it’s given him power he doesn’t have under DOMA [Defense of Marriage Act]. So the Supreme Court looks like it’s willing to go along with this.”

28 OBAMACARE DELAYS TOTAL 15 YEARS AND 3 MONTHS

The Obama administration's unilaterally instituted 28 Obamacare delays cumulatively add up to 15 years and three months, a Fox News analysis reveals.

Out of the 28 delays the White House has decreed, 13 have involved changes designed to delay features of the law for one year or more so they will not hit before the 2014 midterm elections.
Critics of the unpopular Obamacare program argue that President Barack Obama's 28 Obamacare changes trample on the Constitution because they were made without the consent of Congress.
"This is a shameless act, a shameless power grab that is designed to help the president and his political party achieve a particular outcome in a partisan election," said Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT).
According to the RealClearPolitics average of polls, just 39% of Americans support Obamacare.

SEN. MIKE LEE: OBAMACARE DELAYS 'SHAMELESS POWER GRAB'

Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) blasted President Barack Obama on Sunday for his myriad Obamacare delays designed to circumnavigate the looming midterm elections and the Constitution.

"This is a shameless act, a shameless power grab that is designed to help the president and his political party achieve a particular outcome in a partisan election," Lee said onFox News Sunday.
Lee added, "The solution is for the president to come to Congress and make the case to Congress on the policy merits of this question that Congress needs to act. It is not the president's prerogative to simply make this the law by the stroke of the executive pen."
Rep. Xavier Becerra (D-CA), appearing on the same program, disagreed, saying that if Obama's actions were unconstitutional someone would have sued by now.
"If this were against the Constitution, someone would have sued by now and the president would have to stop," said Becerra.

Allen West's Rebuttal: Obama Lacks Credibility, Integrity

In a Newsmax TV exclusive, former U.S. Rep. Allen West delivered his own rebuttal to President Barack Obama's State of the Union address on Tuesday night.
"President Obama walked into the people's chamber this evening lacking in credibility and also lacking in integrity, and the first thing he should have done was to try to re-establish his credibility and integrity with the American people," West said of Obama's speech.

"Instead, the president focused on this theme of income inequality, as if he, and government, can somehow flat-line out our culture and be the ones that guarantee happiness, not the pursuit of happiness."

Obama also omitted many of the country's more pressing issues in the speech, West said.

"We did not hear the president talk about our debt, we did not hear the president talk about regulatory reform," West said afterward. "We did not hear the president talk about monetary reform so that we're not printing money in order to prop up our economy."

Instead, West complained, the president spoke as if he were a "bystander" to what's been happening in the nation's capital.

"He believes that the only way things could be rectified is through his pen and his phone by executive action," West said. "The president needs to learn that we have a Constitution and we are a republic, and he needs to work with legislators, with lawmakers to make sure that we have the right type of policies that enable Americans to have the quality standard of life and living that America has always done."

"We need to have those reforms in our tax, in our regulatory and monetary policies," he said. "We need to do something about the Keystone XL pipeline. We need to also focus on our foreign policy and our national security strategy, something that the president did not really, in depth, discuss this evening."

Obama also missed a "great opportunity to show humility," West said.

"Instead, he came off as a very arrogant person that is upset that people are standing in his way because compromise does not mean you get your way. Compromise means that you lead, you govern, and you work with others."

New record: Feds issued 56 regs for every new law, 3,659 in 2013

red tape
The Obama administration made up for the lack of laws passed in Congress last year, issuing a whopping 3,659 rules regulations, crushing claims that Washington isn't doing anything.
Only 65 public laws were signed by President Obama in 2013, meaning that his government issued an average of 56 new regulations for every one, a record high ratio, according to the annual analysis by the Competitive Enterprise Institute.
The surge in regulations has led critics to charge that Congress is now a bystander to federal regulatory agencies
Said CEI’s Wayne Crews, who provided Secrets with his new analysis, “The deterioration of the Constitution’s separation of, and balance of, powers means that regulators and bureaucrats now make most laws. Congress is so 1789, after all. The executive branch increasingly imposes its will: President Obama and his administration repeatedly say they are not going to wait for Congress, so brace yourselves.”
Crews' chart, which he titles the “Unconstitutionality Index,” shows that in four of Obama's five years as president, his ratio of regulations to new laws has been higher than any of former President George W. Bush.
It also shows that Congress hit a 10-year low in passing laws in 2013. But the number of new regulations to support those laws was about average.

The One Line of Communication No One Can Breach

In a world where governments are gobbling the privacy of ordinary citizens, there is something owned by every human being that is completely immune to the interference of the NSA, FBI, IRS or any other earthly agency: a powerful and always available direct line of communication that cannot be tampered with and is impossible to break.

It’s a direct line of communication with your Creator and nobody or no thing can take it away from you should you put it to use.

This direct line of communication can be tapped into from anywhere, at any time.  You don’t have to wait for a Sunday to use it because the cathedral of the human heart, where it originates,  can be put into use, 24-7.

That direct line to the Creator is precious, not least of all because it is the only private one left in a world that continues to rob citizens of privacy and peace of mind.

Having the prayers of others is always a Godsend.  While the prayers of others can keep you buoyed up and even feeling safer in an increasingly hostile and secular world, organized prayer, or Breakfast Prayer meetings are not the only means to get in good with God.

Western governments of the day are proving they can take everything away from you—the privacy you assumed you had, your job, your family’s food, the roof over your head, your very peace of mind.

President Obama's Top 10 Constitutional Violations Of 2013

English: President Barack Obama shakes hands w...One of Barack Obama’s chief accomplishments has been to return the Constitution to a central place in our public discourse.
Unfortunately, the president fomented this upswing in civic interest not by talking up the constitutional aspects of his policy agenda, but by blatantly violating the strictures of our founding document. And he’s been most frustrated with the separation of powers, which doesn’t allow him to “fundamentally transform” the country without congressional acquiescence.
But that hasn’t stopped him. In its first term, the Administration launched a “We Can’t Wait” initiative, with senior aide Dan Pfeiffer explaining that “when Congress won’t act, this president will.” And earlier this year, President Obama said in announcing his new economic plans that “I will not allow gridlock, or inaction, or willful indifference to get in our way.”
And so, as we reach the end of another year of political strife that’s fundamentally based on clashing views on the role of government in society, I thought I’d update a list I made two years ago and hereby present President Obama’s top 10 constitutional violations of 2013.

Be prepared: Wall Street advisor recommends guns, ammo for protection in collapse

A top financial advisor, worried that Obamacare, the NSA spying scandal and spiraling national debt is increasing the chances for a fiscal and social disaster, is recommending that Americans prepare a “bug-out bag” that includes food, a gun and ammo to help them stay alive.
David John Marotta, a Wall Street expert and financial advisor and Forbes contributor, said in a note to investors, “Firearms are the last item on the list, but they are on the list. There are some terrible people in this world. And you are safer when your trusted neighbors have firearms.”
His memo is part of a series addressing the potential for a “financial apocalypse.” His view, however, is that the problems plaguing the country won't result in armageddon. “There is the possibility of a precipitous decline, although a long and drawn out malaise is muh more likely,” said the Charlottesville, Va.-based president of Marotta Wealth Management.
Marotta said that many clients fear an end-of-the-world scenario. He doesn’t agree with that outcome, but does with much of what has people worried.
“I, along with many other economists, agree with many of the concerns expressed in these dire warnings. The growing debt and deficit spending is a tax on those holding dollars. The devaluation in the U.S. dollar risks the dollar's status as the reserve currency of the world. Obamacare was the worst legislation in the past 75 years. Socialism is on the rise and the NSA really is abrogating vast portions of the Constitution. I don't disagree with their concerns,” he wrote.
In his latest note, he said that Americans should have a survival kit to take in case of a financial or natural disaster. It should be filled with items that will help them stay alive for the first 72-hours of a crisis, including firearms.
“A bug-out bag is a good idea depending on where you live even if the emergency is just power outages, earthquakes and hurricanes. And with your preparedness you will be equipped to help others who might be in need,” he wrote. “Be prepared. Especially because it keeps you from being scared.”
He provided a list of items and even a link to bug-out bags on Amazon.
