[VIDEO] 2 Armed Thugs Picked The WRONG Store To Rob And Paid A Massive Price For It

ADVISORY: The video associated with this post contains graphic images that may be disturbing to some.
The owner of an auto parts shop in Oakland Park, Fla., shifted into “no-way” gear earlier this week when he bravely turned the tables on would-be armed robbers, wrestling a gun away from one of the hold-up men and shooting him with his own weapon.
The whole incredible incident was caught on chilling surveillance video released by detectives.
Police say that both the shop owner and the man who tried to rob the business suffered gunshot wounds in the scuffle. But while the man who owns the shop is expected to survive his wound, the accused gunman — who has been charged with attempted murder — remains hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
An accomplice escaped the scene and is now the focus of a manhunt.

ONE THIEF PICKED THE WRONG 92-YEAR-OLD WOMAN TO MESS WITH

A 92-year-old Texas woman refused to comply with a home intruder that demanded money earlier this week and fought him off at one point by kicking the man in the face
Opal Phelps awoke and saw the masked thief in her Jasper County home Monday, but was not intimidated.
“He tried to make me shut up, but he didn’t have no luck at it,” Phelps told KHOU-TV.
When the thief asked for money, the woman pretended she had misplaced her purse. That’s when the intruder ordered her to put on her shoes. She refused.
“He had a hold of my leg trying to put them shoes on, and they hard to get on, and I just took my other foot and kicked him right in the face,” Phelps said.
The man eventually took off when Phelps pushed her “Life Alert” monitor, but she noted the thief managed to escape with her gun.
“I’m going to stay here. I told that cop I was getting me another gun,” Phelps said. “He says get it. I’m going to use it next time I think.”

EIGHT-YEAR-OLD THREATENED WITH EXPULSION FOR DRAWING NINJA WITH GUN

An eight-year-old at Scottsdale, Arizona's Country Day School was threatened with expulsion after drawing a picture of soldier with a gun as an idea for a Halloween costume.

The child's name has not been released—to protect his identity—but his parents pulled him from the school last week after he was threatened with expulsion for drawing a picture of a soldier with a gun, a ninja warrior with a gun, and a Star Wars character holding laser guns.
According to CBS 5 Arizona, the child's father, who also remains anonymous, said this is a situation where the headmaster literally "bullied" his son over the drawings, and "bullied the parents" too.
The father said the headmaster pointed to writings in the eight-year-old's journal where he wrote of adventures filled with "booby traps" and "shooting gadgets [like] a rope gun." The boy also wrote about doing away with nuclear weapons, "saving the earth and protecting humanity."
However, the headmaster focused on the drawings—like the one of the soldier with a gun—and said he "couldn't guarantee the safety of other student's with [the eight-year-old] around."

“Bang, Bang,” You’re Suspended: Second-Grader Sent Home for Carrying Invisible Gun

Design Pics / LJM Photo/LJM Photo/Newscom
“No physical threats were made and no one was harmed.”

Just when you thought gun-fearing “educators” couldn’t get any sillier.
Last week, it was a couple of teenagers suspended for a year for playing with airsoft guns on the front lawn. This week, it’s a second-grader suspended for a day for using his finger as a pretend gun.
Yes, eight-year-old Jordan Bennett was sent home after administrators at Harmony Community School in Harmony, Florida, concluded that the gesture was an act of violence. School district officials have told the press that their code of conduct prohibits students from playing with invisible guns.
An act of violence? Are they really that dumb? Jordan’s mother, Bonnie, is justifiably bewildered by the stupidity of this punishment: “He had nothing in his hand. It was a finger gun, a pretend gun. He didn’t threaten violence. He didn’t utter words that were inappropriate. He made a sound and used his fingers and that was it.”
This is not the first time that school officials have overreacted to second-grade gun play. In March, Josh Welch, a seven-year-old (yes, seven) student at Park Elementary School in Baltimore, Maryland, was accused of nibbling a rectangular, strawberry-filled pastry into a gun-like shape, then stating “bang, bang.” School officials were sufficiently disturbed by this event to remove Josh from class and banish him from the premises for two days.
It didn’t stop with the suspension. Assistant principal Myrna Phillips wrote a stern letter to parents explaining that Josh had “used food to make inappropriate gestures that disrupted the class,” encouraging parents to remind their kids about the “importance of making good choices,” and offering counseling to any student who might need it. All this even as Phillips acknowledged that “no physical threats were made and no one was harmed.”

TEXAS MAN’S PREGNANT WIFE NEVER WANTED TO HAVE A GUN IN THE HOUSE – BUT NOW SHE’S SURE GLAD HE INSISTED

A Texas man’s pregnant wife made it clear she was against having a firearm in their house. However, the husband insisted she learn how to use a gun to protect herself just in case. In fact, it was just a few months ago that he took her out to teach her the basics.
On Saturday, she was extremely thankful to have the protection of a gun on her side.
The pregnant woman, identified only as “Alex,” told KGBT-TV that she was startled by the sound of a man banging loudly on her front door while another man walked around to the back of her Palmview, Texas, home. Her husband had just left 20 minutes before.

“I’m a young woman, I’m pregnant, I’m home alone. I’m not going to answer the door – I mean, I know better,” she recalled.
