OBAMA REFUSES TO CALL MOTHER OF MURDERED MARINE; WHITE HOUSE WON’T LOWER FLAGS
It’s amazing how thoroughly President Obama has snubbed the families of the Marines and Navy petty officer murdered in Chattanooga, Tennessee by jihadi gunman Mohammed Youssef Abdulazeez. The White House refuses to order flags lowered to half-staff in their honor. As Stars & Stripes notes, Obama’s flacks won’t even explain why.
“I don’t have more information about the status of the flag over the White House,” said spokesman Josh Earnest. Isn’t that astounding? Either the President doesn’t care enough about the issue to direct his vast media apparatus to prepare an explanation, or he knows there isn’t an explanation that would satisfy the public.
It’s all the more puzzling because, as Stars & Stripes recalls, the flag was lowered after the Washington Navy Yard shooting in 2013, and even after traitor Nidal Hassan’s jihad rampage at Forth Hood in 2009 – the attack shamefully classified as “workplace violence” by this Administration.
“We’ve lost five servicemen, and as you’ve said, the flag goes to half-mast for all types of other incidents around the country,” said
told Stuart Varney of Fox News on Monday. “Here we have five servicemen who lost their lives. I can’t imagine why it hasn’t been lowered.”
When Varney asked if the snub might have something to do with Obama’s reluctance to “acknowledge domestic Islamic terrorism,” DeJarlais replied, “He has a hard time with that concept for some reason. It’s here. It’s here to stay.”

President Obama has ordered that flags be lowered to half-staff at the White House and federal buildings across the country to honor the victims of last week's shooting rampage in Chattanooga, Tenn., after facing pressure from lawmakers and others.
In a proclamation issued early Tuesday afternoon, Obama said of the Chattanooga victims, "We honor their service. We offer our gratitude to the police officers and first responders who stopped the rampage and saved lives. We draw strength from yet another American community that has come together with an unmistakable message to those who would try and do us harm: We do not give in to fear. You cannot divide us. And you will not change our way of life."
He ordered flags flown at half-staff at the White House and "all public buildings and grounds," as well as over military posts and naval stations and vessels -- until July 25. Flags will be flown at half-staff at U.S. embassies and other overseas diplomatic offices.
The decision comes after congressional leaders ordered flags at the U.S. Capitol lowered to half-staff earlier in the day -- that decision fueled questions over why the White House hadn't yet done the same.
Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif., a veteran, earlier released a statement calling it "unconscionable" that the flags had not been lowered, as of Tuesday morning. "The flag and all it represents is sacred to our military, and the President must know that lowering the flag is a signal of honor and respect," he said.
Shortly afterward, the White House issued its proclamation, following similar instructions for the Capitol by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and House Speaker John Boehner.
US FLAGS at State Capitols and US Capitol at Half-Mast But White House Still at Full Mast
Several state capitols are flying the US flag at half-mast today in honor of the four Marines and sailor who were shot dead last week by a Muslim in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Five servicemen were killed in the Chattanooga attacks last week.
(WBIR – NASHVILLE) Flags over the State Capitol and all state office buildings will fly at half-staff in honor of those who were lost in last week's fatal shootings in Chattanooga.
Flags should remain at half-staff until sunset on Friday.
This will include five consecutive business days to honor the life of each serviceman lost.

OBAMA’S SECRETIVE GUN BAN FOR SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFICIARIES
In a the latest backdoor gun control effort put forward by the White House, President Obama is pushing to ban gun possession for Social Security beneficiaries who are incapable of handling their own finances.
The specific details of the ban are unknown, as it is being put together “outside of public view.” But the LA Times reports that a ban on gun possession due to inability to handle finances would be sweeping; that it would cover those who are unable to manage their own affairs for a multitude of reasons–from “subnormal intelligence or mental illness” to “incompetency,” an unspecified “condition,” or “disease.”
The Times notes that the finances of roughly “4.2 million” Social Security beneficiaries are handled by someone else.
Yale Psychologist Dr. Marc Rosen has seen this same tact used on US veterans and warns that those applying it to guns under the presumption that needing help with financial management equates to violent tendencies are simply mistaken. Rosen said, “Someone can be incapable of managing their funds but not be dangerous, violent or unsafe. They are very different determinations.”
The Times provides an example of 30-year-old US Marine Steve Overman. He requires help with his finances because of “weakened..memory and cognitive ability” resulting from a roadside bomb in Iraq. The “VA eventually deemed him 100% disabled and after reviewing his case in 2012 declared him incompetent, making his wife his fiduciary.”
Because of this, he had to get his guns out of his house–taking them a relative’s home–in order to avoid losing them. This same scenario could play out again–millions of times–if the Social Security Administration uses the “mental defective” categorization that the VA uses.
Under this one category alone, approximately “2.7 million” Social Security beneficiaries could lose gun rights.

House Republicans introduce resolution to block Obama's Iran deal
More than two-thirds of all House Republicans have signed onto a resolution disapproving of the Iran nuclear agreement, language that is likely to get a vote in early September after members spend weeks pouring over the deal.
The resolution from Rep. Peter Roskam, R-Ill., has the potential to block the deal that most Republicans oppose, but only if it can pass the House and Senate, and then if both chambers can override an expected veto from President Obama.
Roskam's resolution was introduced Thursday with 171 House Republican cosponsors, and was expected to be supported by nearly every House Republican once it gets a vote. No Democrats are on the bill.
The resolution argued that Iran has been trying since the 1980s to acquire a nuclear weapon, and that the United Nations has adopted several resolutions demanding Iran lower its ambition in this area.
It also argued that "Secretary of State John Kerry has publicly stated that the United States does not recognize Iran's self-proclaimed right to enrich uranium," and says the Iran nuclear deal fails in several areas to rein in Iran.
But the final deal announced this week "fails to require Iran to fully dismantle its nuclear program" and allows "key restraints on Iran's nuclear program to expire within 10 to 15 years," according to Roskam's resolution.
The deal also allows international sanctions on conventional and ballistic missiles to be lifted, and doesn't address Iran's broader terrorist activities.
"[T]he Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action fails to address Iran's egregious human rights record, Iran's role as the world's leading state-sponsor of international terrorism and Iran's unjust imprisonment of innocent United States citizens," the resolution said.
The measure ended by saying the House "expresses its firm disapproval" of the deal, and "reaffirms its commitment to prevent Iran from ever acquiring a nuclear weapons capability."
Jihad on U.S. Troops Is Not a "Circumstance" by Michelle Malkin

Navy Secretary Ray Mabus called the terrorist's spree "insidious and unfathomable." President Obama bemoaned the "heartbreaking circumstance" in which the murdered Marines found themselves.
"Unfathomable"? Not if you've been paying attention. Islam-inspired hate crimes against our troops have continued unabated since the Obama White House first dismissed the 2009 Fort Hood massacre as "workplace violence."
Here's what's unfathomable: While the social justice warriors in Washington bend over backward to appease CAIR and Muslim civil rights absolutists, Americans in uniform are dying on American soil at the hands of Allah's homicidal avengers -- but the commander in chief couldn't even bother to deliver a live statement to the nation yesterday about the bloodshed.
Instead, Obama issued another bland, bloodless pronouncement about the assassinations of our disarmed troops.
"Heartbreaking circumstance"? Lightning strikes are random events of unfortunate circumstance. The concerted attacks and plots against our troops in their recruitment centers and on their bases here at home are outrageous acts of war.

In June 2009, Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad walked into an Arkansas Army recruiting center, murdered 24-year-old Pvt. William Long and gravely wounded 18-year-old Pvt. Quinton Ezeagwula. He had planned on killing many more in the name of Allah. While the White House and media decried the "climate of hate" fostered by Christians, they whitewashed Muhammad's jihadi rage. Muhammad received a life sentence without parole for the act he himself described as a "jihadi attack on infidel forces."
It should be noted that Muhammad converted to Islam at Tennessee State University in Nashville and then became further radicalized in Yemen before returning to the U.S.
"The U.S. has to pay for the rape, murder, bloodshed, blasphemy it has done and still doing to the Muslims and Islam," Muhammad railed after carrying out his plot. "So consider this a small retaliation the best is to come Allah willing. This is not the first attack and won't be the last."
As I noted at the time, Obama could barely muster up a limp written statement expressing "sadness" over what he described as a "senseless act of violence" (instead of the intentional systematic act of Islamic terrorism that it was).

Daily Caller: Disgraced Planned Parenthood Official Works For White House Staff…Her 'Right-Wing' Hatred EXPOSED
Disgraced Planned Parenthood official Deborah Nucatola’s shocking personal work history is coming to light.
Records reveal that Nucatola was employed by a former White House staffer at the time that she was selling aborted baby fetus parts.
A staunch political advocate, Nucatola railed against the “right-wing” Bush administration. What’s more, she so enjoyed her work in the abortion industry that she touted a T-shirt celebrating a drug used in the practice.
Let’s break it down:
Works for a White House staffer
Nucatola is currently employed at Sexual Health Innovations, founded by former Obama White House staffer Jessica Ladd. Senior Obama administration officials sit on the board of the abortion activist group, including Praveen Basaviah of the President’s Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS and Kyle Bernstein of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The IRS-approved 501(c)3 tech nonprofit is a major Obama administration contractor.
The group works on issues including “abortion access,” according to its website. But the group’s biggest project right now is Callisto, an online “third-party sexual assault reporting system” for girls on college campuses. The property in development counts Google as its investor.
Sexual Health Innovations provides “original websites, apps, and software systems that will advance sexual health and wellbeing.” The group did the design work on The Sex Pact, described in literature as “a CDC-funded initiative to increase condom usage among 14-18 year-old African American males in Washington, DC.”
Sexual health and wellbeing issues especially affect populations with less political power and financial resources, such as youth, racial and gender minorities, women, and GLBTQ communities,” the group has stated. “Their lack of influence, combined with the stigmatization of sexual health topics, makes it hard for them to access high-quality sexual health education, services, and support.”
The Daily Caller has inquired as to the level of compensation that Nucatola currently earns at the nonprofit.

Nucatola railed against the “right-wing” Bush administration in a California local newspaper op-ed in 2007.
Responding to the Bush administration’s global gag rule preventing advocacy groups from counseling women to have abortions, Nucatola wrote, “Despite recent advances, women in the United States and abroad continue to suffer the consequences of a right-wing U.S. administration that has put politics before health and ideology before science…The policies of the Bush administration do not represent America at its best, nor do they represent the values that the majority of Americans hold dear.”

The Newsmax TV host opened up the interview by bringing up the fact that Clinton claimed that she never received a subpoena over her emails, even though Rep. Trey Gowdy revealed on Wednesday that Clinton did indeed receive one in March.
Davis went on the defensive immediately, telling Malzberg that Clinton was referring to not getting one prior to her giving her emails to the State Department.
“Why did Hillary say she never got a subpoena on CNN when there have been several subpoenas?” Malzberg asked initially.
“Okay, she said she never got a subpoena in the context of a question of whether she had a subpoena prior to her delivering the emails to the State Department,” Davis responded. “That was the question she answered. A time specific answer, she had not gotten a subpoena at that time. I think she probably misunderstood that it would be interpreted this way. But knowing Trey Gowdy, who’s never answered the question, ‘why won’t you call her publicly to testify why you won’t release the transcript of Sidney Blumenthal’s deposition. That’s what we should be talking about.”
“I don’t really care about that Lanny,” Malzberg said. “I don’t care about that. I’m here to talk about Hillary, not Trey Gowdy.
“Well, what I care about is telling you these answers that I choose to answer,” Davis said. “Not the one you want me to. I gave you the answer.”

Michelle Obama reveals her 'modest' $600k changes to White House State Dining Room - months after her florist quit amid reports of 'infighting' between designers
Michelle Obama has given a touch-up to the White House State Dining Room, the latest interior design change that will endure long after she leaves the building at a cost of $595,000.
Her modest changes to the room where many dinners and other events are held follow this year's more dramatic remake of the Old Family Dining Room and the unveiling of the Obama china service.
The change, which has been years in the making, comes just months after head florist Laura Dowling quit her post and was escorted from the building by security.

Sources close to Dowling suggested she was upset at having to leave and blamed her demise on the intense rivalry that exists within the small coterie of decorators and designers that serve the White House.
'She is very sad about leaving the White House,' said one source on condition of anonymity.
'She was very proud to work there and this has come as a shock. It's all about jealousy - Laura has not put a foot wrong.
'She was very hardworking and she has always been professional and passionate about her work. She and her husband have said they can't talk about it now.
'But they've said that when the time comes they will reveal what really happened.'

WHITE HOUSE BLAMES REPUBLICANS FOR DEPORTED SAN FRANCISCO KILLER
White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest is blaming Republicans after an illegal immigrant who was reportedly deported five times was charged with murder in California.
When asked by reporters about critics of President Obama’s immigration enforcement policies, Earnest insisted that it was actually Republicans who are fault for voting against the Gang Of Eight bill last year, pointing out that it contained funding to increase border security.
“The fact is that the president has done everything within his power to make sure that we are focusing our law enforcement resources on criminals and those who pose a threat to public safety and it’s because of the political efforts of Republicans that we have not been able to make the kind of investment that we’d like to make in securing our border and keeping our community safe,” Earnest said.
Francisco Sanchez was charged with shooting and killing a 32-year-old San Francisco woman last week, leading to criticism from illegal immigration activists. Earnest deferred questions about details of the case to the Department of Homeland Security.

SECRET WHITE HOUSE GAY WEDDING REVEALED

Before the White House was bathed in rainbow light to celebrate the Supreme Court’s decision to legalize gay marriage nationwide, a secret gay wedding was conducted in the building by former Obama speechwriter Jon Lovett.
Lovett, who worked for Obama during his first term, reveals that he used his White House privileges to sneak in a pair of gay men under the guise of giving them a tour, then performed a wedding ceremony in the Rose Garden without the knowledge of the president.
“We were very nervous. They were nervous because they were getting married. I was nervous because I snuck into my boss’ house to perform a wedding against his wishes in his backyard,” he said. “You can say what you will about the first same-sex marriage at the White House, at the very least, it was quite rude.”
Lovett revealed the secret wedding of “Justin” and “Steve” during an Aspen Ideas festival feature of “The Moth Radio Hour” podcast over the weekend, according to Mike Allen’s Playbook. The episode has not yet aired publicly.
After the ceremony, Lovett says the gay men “kissed modestly” and he filed the paperwork with the address 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue – the official evidence that the ceremony took place.

White House-Linked Dark Money Group Threatens Democrats on Eve of Nuke Deal
A prominent progressive organization linked to the White House and claiming to work for dozens of like-minded groups is threatening to attack any congressional Democrat who objects to a final nuclear deal with Iran, even before the terms of any such agreement have been finalized, according to an email obtained by the Free Beacon.
CREDO Action, the political arm of CREDO Mobile, declared this week in an secret email to journalists that it will punish congressional Democrats who fail to line up behind any deal sealed between the West and Iran.
“Democrats in Congress are the only remaining obstacle to finalizing today’s historic deal,” Zack Malitz, campaign manager for CREDO, said in a statement emailed to reporters on July 2, along with a note that details of the email were not to be published until a deal was actually announced. “Every Democrat should go on the record right now in support of the deal, and pledge to defend it from attacks in Congress.”
“Republicans will try to sabotage the deal and take us to war, but they can’t do it without Democratic votes,” Matlz wrote. “Progressives will hold accountable those Democrats who vote to help Republicans sabotage the deal and start a war.”
