[VIDEO] Brent Bozell Tells Hannity to Get Medication Over to MSNBC for Their 'Ongoing Epidemic of Dishonesty' on Obamacare

On Thursday night’s edition of “Media Mash” on the Fox News Channel, Sean Hannity and MRC president Brent Bozell discussed how you should “bring a laugh meter” to the coverage of desperate media liberals who are trying to insist against all the mounting evidence that Obamacare is not a debacle, and Obama never misled anyone about it.

MSNBC’s Ed Schultz even insisted the media are too concerned about their own appearance of integrity to admit the obvious, that Obamacare is so positive, has such a tremendous impact, that the press is afraid to praise it. Bozell said someone on MSNBC needs medication, because this is “an ongoing epidemic of dishonesty.” [Video and transcript below]

HANNITY Your buddy Eddie Schultz over there “Obamacare is so wonderful the media is afraid [to praise it]!” I don't know who gets the award for suck up and head up the you know what award, either him or his colleague, Chris Matthews. One of them gets it. Let’s roll tape.

SCHULTZ: You know what? I think that network reporters throughout the entire industry may be caught in a dilemma: That ObamaCare is so positive, and going to have such a tremendous impact on American life and American society, and setting the foundation for better changes in the future, I think that network reporters and people on TV are having a hard time saying something nice about it or positive about it, because they might be viewed as [makes air quotes] 'journalistically compromised.' They're not really showing a great deal of integrity if they say something positive about ObamaCare.

HANNITY: Yeah, that thrill up your leg thing doesn’t extend to everybody.

Sebelius: I'm Not Signing Up for Obamacare

sebelius(CNSNews.com) - In an interview with CNN's Dr. Sanjay Gupta Tuesday night, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said she won't be enrolling in the problem-plagued health insurance system that she was charged to implement.
"I have created an account on the site. I have not tried signing up, because I have insurance," she told Gupta.
But Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) says government officials like Sebelius should be required to live under the same laws they impose on everyone else.
Paul is now plugging a constitutional amendment that states, "Congress shall make no law applicable to a citizen of the United States that is not equally applicable to Congress." The amendment also contains two provisions that apply that same principle to the Executive Branch and Judicial Branch of the federal government.
Appearing on Fox News Tuesday evening, Paul told Sean Hannity he thinks this is an amendment "that really everybody ought to be able to agree to."
"There have been a lot of times in our history -- originally, congressional members were exempt from Social Security. That's not true now because people got mad about it. But really, the law should be applied equally to everyone," Paul said. "I think that's a basic precept of the law. So I really think maybe we'll get some bipartisanship on this and maybe we'll get it passed."

[VIDEO] Cheney: 'The Extremist in Washington Is Barack Obama'

FOX NEWS INSIDER - Moving on to politics, former vice president Dick Cheney reacted to the battle between establishment Republicans and the Tea Party with Fox's Sean Hannity. “I’m not unsympathetic to the frustration that’s led many Americans to sign on for, or become part of, the Tea Party.”

He attributed the frustration felt by Americans to the inability of the Obama administration to come to grips with the long-term debt problem. “The extremist in Washington is Barack Obama. He’s the guy that wants to fundamentally transform our health care. He’s the guy that’s done enormous damage to America’s standing in the world.”

As for Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) and his supporters who stood up against ObamaCare during the shutdown, Cheney said it’s important that they lead the Tea Party movement inside the Republican Party. He said the GOP needs to mobilize young people and Hispanic voters who can be persuaded that they stand for the same values.

Hannity Dials Obamacare Call Center, Operator Says No One Likes It

At the top of his radio program today, Sean Hannity called in to an Obamacare call center. Hannity was able to get through to an operator after only several moments of waiting. He spoke to the operator for nearly 10 minutes about Obamacare, what her thoughts of it are and what kind of response she has received so far. The operator was very friendly and had no problem answering all of Hannity's questions.
HANNITY: They're really telling you to tell us to check back in on the website in off-hours. Does that mean that I should go on at like three in the morning?

OPERATOR: It was saying early in the morning and late at night, but some people say they do that and still can't get in.

HANNITY: So people are reporting to you the real deal?

OPERATOR: Yes sir, they are.

HANNITY: Have you ever got anybody that really likes it yet?

OPERATOR: Umm, no, not really.

Find Out What Happens When Sean Hannity Calls Obamacare Hotline

Fox News and conservative radio talk show host Sean Hannity called the Obamacare hotline on-air Monday afternoon — and things quickly got awkward.

Hannity, who first had to navigate through the automated menu, was eventually connected with representative Erling Davis.

“You are on the radio, you are on the Sean Hannity radio show,” the radio host informed Davis. “You’re on the radio. Is that OK with you? You have to say yes if you want to be on.”
“It’s OK, sir,” Davis replies.

“How is the call volume today?” Hannity then asked. “Because the president gave out your phone number today. Did you know that?”

“I did not know that, sir,” she says.
Hannity then explained to Davis that he is having problems enrolling in President Obama’s signature health care program using the healthcare.gov website.

Schultz Challenges Hannity to Debate: ‘Let’s See If I’m the Knucklehead You Think I Am’

Could there be an Ed Schultz vs. Sean Hannity debate in our future? This week, MSNBC’s Schultz challenged Fox’s Hannity to an on-air showdown over comments he made about “treasonous” John Boehner’s efforts to keep the government shutdown in order to take away Americans’ health care.
Schultz played a clip from Hannity during his “Trenders” segment Monday in which the Fox host said, “Eddie Schultz is back… and he’s frothing at the mouth about treasonous John Boehner.” Hannity added on his show, “I wonder what Williams and Brokaw and Lauer think of this knucklehead,” name-dropping some of Schultz’s NBC News colleagues.
At the end of his piece, Schultz submitted his challenge to Hannity. “Sean, wherever you want to debate, you name the place, the time,” he said. “Come on. give me a chance, Sean. Let’s see if I’m the knucklehead that you think I am. Let’s have a debate, Hannity. Certainly you’re punching up, in my opinion.

HANNITY: BOEHNER MUST BE REPLACED

On his radio show on Friday, Fox News host Sean Hannity said House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), along with the rest of the Republican leadership in the House, had to be replaced.

"I do think leadership in the House needs to change," Hannity said. "I don't think John Boehner is equipped for the job. I don't think he has the stomach to negotiate. I don't think he has the ability to communicate the positive, solution-oriented vision for the country."
"How hard is it?" Hannity asked. "Why aren't these guys out there explaining what their vision is?"
For instance, Hannity said Republican leaders have not done a good job of explaining how America's plentiful domestic energy sources can lead to prosperity. He also cited issues like health savings accounts and ways to reduce the country's debt to preserve the nation's solvency as missed opportunities. He said the GOP has a "communications problem" that has been reflected in the party's bad poll numbers.
Hannity also ripped Republican leaders in Washington for "alienating" the Tea Party. Hannity named Senators like John McCain (R-AZ) and Bob Corker (R-TN) for being the top offenders and said their "unwillingness to stand strong" and constant bashing of the Tea Party is "irritating every conservative I know."

[VIDEO] Hannity Brawls With Weiner In Legendary Throw Down

Fox News Insider-Anthony Weiner sat down with Sean Hannity tonight … and let’s just say neither guest nor host held much back.  The former congressman was forced to resign in 2011 after he tweeted a nude photo of himself to a woman who was not his wife. A sexting scandal revealed itself this past year during Weiner’s failed run for New York City mayor.

Even though Hannity admitted to not agreeing on anything with Weiner, he wished him the best in his personal life. Weiner dodged questions about his egregious behavior, which led Hannity to ask about his future. “I thought maybe the reason you are here is because maybe you wanted to transition to television, and maybe you’re coming on this show in the hopes of like replacing Chris Matthews.”

“Nope,” Weiner responded. “You asked me to come on, you said you wanted to talk about ObamaCare. […] It seems sometimes you need some explaining on things. I’m here to do it for you, brother.”

Weiner became defensive when asked about his future plans and told Hannity not to worry about it.

Back in August, Weiner’s sexting mistress Sydney Leathers appeared on Hannity. She told the Fox News host that Weiner hated Hannity more than any other conservative. Tonight, Hannity confronted Weiner about that statement. He replied, “Hate you? I mean, I’m here on your show. […] I was part of the group in Washington […] among progressives who didn’t think it was heresy to come on Fox.”

[VIDEO] Romney to Hannity: I Wasn't Clear Enough How Bad Obama Was for America

Nearly a year after his presidential campaign ended in failure, Mitt Romney says he wasn't clear enough in 2012 on one basic message: how bad President Obama's policies are for the American economy.

Appearing on Fox News Channel's "Hannity" on Tuesday, the former Massachusetts governor admitted, "I did not make that message clear as I should have during my campaign."

A Washington Post story on Tuesday revealed that Romney's own polls throughout the campaign showed he was likely to lose to Obama, even though reports immediately after his loss showed his entire campaign was caught by surprise.

Urgent: Should GOP Stick to Its Guns on Obamacare? Vote Here.

He might not have won the nation's highest office, but he still has advice for those currently in Washington.

Nothing will get done in government, he said, unless all parties come together. "And this president has not shown that inclination, frankly, since he's been in office. And the country's in the balance."

With a government shutdown more than a week old and a debt ceiling  deadline looming, Romney said, "These are real concerns that will affect a lot of people, and the president's got to engage and work in the job of governing, not just campaigning and posturing."

Pat Buchanan: Obama shutdown maneuvers ‘genuinely sadistic’

witless_shruggedOn Sean Hannity’s radio show on Thursday, conservative commentator Pat Buchanan picked up where he left off earlier in the week by criticizing President Barack Obama’s tactics in dealing with the federal government shutdown.
According to the former Nixon and Reagan administration staffer, the president’s acts show that he is motivated by winning a political fight, even if it means resorting to very unpopular means to get at his opposition.
“I think even many of the president’s supporters, at least some of them, will candidly admit he’s among the most partisan presidents we’ve ever had,” Buchanan said. “And the relationship between the Republican House and the Republicans in the Senate and the White House, and the fact he didn’t meet with [Senate Minority LeaderMitch] McConnell for 18 months, I think that president is becoming quite frankly becoming increasingly a savage partisan. What he is doing in this debate and this argument, however, I think is genuinely sadistic.”
“To go out there yesterday and suggest, you know maybe we’re going to default and rattle the markets where they plunge today, to have his aides call over there at the Park Service and tell them not to let the veterans visit the World War II Memorial when they’re on honor flight — their last chance in this life to meet and honor the guys with whom they served and to visit the memorial, which belongs to them — what kind of mind would do that?” Buchanan continued.
He added that this president’s comments diminish his office to a point he comes off as a losing partisan.
“[Y]ou hear these very solicitous comments, ‘Well, you know we got a strong economy,’” Buchanan said. “Make sure you know, you don’t rattle the market or panic the markets. He looked like he is trying deliberately to do it. And now we see he’s out there threatening the Social Security checks of the old folks. I mean, this sounds like some rabid partisan in a wholly partisan congressional district in the last 48 hours before a losing campaign.”
Buchanan, the author of “Suicide of a Superpower: Will America Survive to 2025?“ said it looked to him that congressional Democrats, including Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, were playing into Republicans’ hands. His suggested course of action was to counter hardship stories in the media by passing legislation that would fundthose parts of the government and put the onus on Reid, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and their fellow Democratic colleagues.

‘GET YOUR FINGER OUT OF MY FACE!’: HANNITY SEGMENT ERUPTS INTO SHOUTING MATCH, INSULTS AND THE DOLING OUT OF ‘HAPPY CANDY’

If history was any indicator, Thursday night’s on-air exchange between radio show host Bill Cunningham and Fox News analyst Tamara Holder was destined to devolve into utter chaos.
Facing off once again on Fox News’ “Hannity,” the conversation was supposed to be about the debt ceiling, but ended up erupting in finger-pointing, shouting, a comparison to actress Farrah Fawcett and the doling out of “Hannity happy candy.”
While the host opened with a question about the nation’s finances, Holder re-routed, having brought some goodies along with her in what Mediaite assumed was a peace offering. But it didn’t take long before some negative quips led the on-air duo toward another bombastic clash.
“I feel like conservatives are so angry,” Holder said, going on to reference their fight earlier this summer. “I think this is a proper opportunity for you to apologize, not to me, but to the viewers for taking your attack personally.”
“Really?” Cunningham responded.

Holder offered up her “Hannity happy candies” and said that guests owe it to the viewers to focus on the issues and to not be so angry.
And that’s when the floodgates really opened.
When Hannity finally refocused the guests on the debt ceiling, Holder noted that President George W. Bush raised the limit eight times during his presidency.
In issuing the factoid, she was attempting to highlight the disparity between the compliant reaction among many during those times and the angry responses coming now from some conservatives.
“This woman has lost her mind. There’s no question about that. Let me help you with math,” Cunningham said, going on to say that the national debt has increased monumentally from almost $10 trillion to nearly $20 trillion under Obama. “Is 20 greater than 10, Tamera? Earth to Tamera. Is 20 greater than 10.”

Media Mash: MSNBC's Schultz Wonders Why 'People Don't Love Obama'

It "amazes" MSNBC's Ed Schultz "that people don't love Obama" and think he's doing a stellar job handling the economy. Reacting to a video clip of that absurd rant, NewsBusters publisher Brent Bozell told the audience of Sean Hannity's September 19 program the reasons why.
There's "1.9 million less jobs" now than when President Obama took office, not to mention "47,600,000 Americans on food stamps" and "3 million people [who] have entered the rolls of poverty since [Obama] became president," the Media Research Center founder noted. "That's why they don't love him, everybody's having a very hard time" in the Obama economy and "Ed Schultz needs a dosage of reality," Bozell concluded. Hannity agreed, noting that when it comes to on-air Obamagasms, "he's giving Chris Matthews a run for his money." [watch the full "Media Mash" segment below the page break]  Bozell and Hannity also discussed how the media, particularly MSNBC's Alex Witt, sought to portray President Obama as "coming out the winner" in his bumbling handling of the Syrian chemical weapons crisis:

SEAN HANNITY: Give him the Nobel Peace Prize. He fell into a solution after Vladimir Putin threatened to shoot missiles out of the air--
BRENT BOZELL: Somebody should get them some smelling salts over at that network. Look, here's just the simple reality. Barack Obama has lost control of the Middle East. The United States has lost control of the Middle East. Vladimir Putin is now  planning policy in the Middle East.
They are laughing at us. Putin is now saying, well, maybe they won't do it after all. Assad is saying, well, maybe I'll do it, but give me a billion dollars more. They're laughing at America. At MSNBC, they call that a victory.

Hannity Wins: Liberals Humiliated

Sean Hannity wins.
Liberals, having spent months predicting his television and radio demise, lose.
Humiliated. Again.
But this is about more — much more — than Sean Hannity.
The entire episode swirling around Hannity’s future on Fox and talk radio is a reminder not simply of Hannity’s success and the abysmal failure of Hannity-hating enemies. It is in fact yet one more example of what the late William F. Buckley, Jr. referred to as the “hurtling irrationality” of the “liberal mania.” The real question is as easy as it is serious:
Why are liberals so gullible?
What does this Hannity dust-up say about the way liberals see everything from their bizarre assertions about Sean Hannity to ObamaCare, Syria policy and beyond?
And — no small point for media obsessives - what does this say about the strength of the conservative base in the media?
Let’s focus on Hannity first — and yes, by all means, let’s name some names here.
Prime-time Fox TV it is for Sean. Still and again after 17 years, he remains at the top. Just this week these ratings freshly published over at Mediaite demonstrate his ability to beat the competition, repeatedly clobbering the rest of the field wandering around over there on the ratings deserts that are CNN, MSNBC and HLN.
